THAT was the reason for a turn-down? How odd. I wouldn't think that sort of attitude is the norm.Don't find them a turn on or off in and of themselves. They suit some people, not others. Design and location are big factors.

Tattoos yes !! BUT not just little random ones , I like an entire back done , or two whole sleeves etc - pissy southern cross tattoos or cartoon characters nope! Piercing's are a turn off for me . I like getting really wild in bed and they feel like I might catch them or hurt them - I don't like PA's on guys , feels horrible to give head to . Not a big fan of any cock piercings. Each their own though , pretty sure if we had a ton of chemistry when we met I'd overlook my distaste for piercings :)

Love tattoos - but like Delicious said - commit to it or don't bother. Down in this neck of the woods the old Sthn Cross tatt tells people you're of a low socio-economic background.... Don't shoot the messenger - it just is the way it is!But I also probably wouldn't be a great fan of every inch of skin covered in tatts.A nice balance!Piercing on guys I just don't get. Especially tongue rings. It seems very effeminate to me. They're not a turn-off, they're just not a turn-on.

I'm heavly tattooed with a full back piece and both thighs inked and a half sleeve and I have been turned down the same as you ... Each to their own is how I feel and tattoos are not every-ones cuppa tea ... not that my art-work changes who I am as a person So yes I find well done and tasteful tattoos extremly sexy ...... In regards to piercings I agree with the lovely Apollo Thirteen

Had you met or did this just come up in conversation.I would think amongst gen y, it would almost be de riguer. If the piercings are on your face ,that could definitely be a turn off for some. Old wrinkly tattoos are very unattractive but as you are neither, that is not a problem. Some tattoos are truly amazing body art,and personally I love them.x Hugs H

I have two tattoos myself - one on my rite shoulder (back) - a small memorial to my deceased husband and one on my lower back...(which btw frigging hurt when I had it done)..both are small and I believe tasteful I also have a vertical hood piercing Both my tatts and piercing are subtle ...a hint of the naughtiness that lurks within me...if they turn others off..bad luck..they are mine..and were done for reasons that belong to me In partners I dont mind a tatt at all...I love tatts especially if they have a story attached to them ..and not just memorial ones (like mine) but again I love those that are subtle, discreet and in unusual places.. However I must admit I dont find the full sleeve or all over body etc attractive and I dont find piercings on guys a real turn on either......but each to their own...to those who have them, I wouldnt rule them out as a potential play partner (arrogance and attitute are more of a reason for me to give you the flick) but I guess everyone has their dealbreaker and to the OP well all I can say is if that person couldnt see beyond your accessories, well long term, do you really want to play with someone who judges you in that way ??

I'm not a fan of either, but if I liked the person and found them attractive, I don't think it would matter. Also, as Neptune said, design and location are big factors. But each to their own!

One tosser came out saying that "ïn his opinion" people with too many tattoos were low lifes and then defended himself by saying it was his opinion and he was entitled to it. Apparently my "opinion" that he was a moron was offensive. I don't know why, it was just my opinion. Anyway, we haven't seen him on RHP since.

Saying to go all out with tatts or nothing at all is BS.. Im considering getting one just one side of my pubic bone.. Only the people I want to see this ' will.. Personally' Im not a big fan of every tat I see ' mainly because the wearers put them on willy nilly without much thought and end up looking like a kids scribble board. Tatts with thought and position are much more appealling.. Iv'e seen some really nice work on girls and guys when they have given some thought to the design and position... and they look great.. Mrs JJ is still out on the question... MrJJ...

Some women get freaked out about genital piercings, which is fair enough, especially if they're PAs or the sort that could end up inside her. I like genital piercings, have some myself, and even I am freaked out about the idea of PAs and find them kind of grotesque. But even if they're not the sort that will end up participating in intercourse, like mine really aren't, I could still understand someone finding the whole idea and aesthetic repulsive. Haven't been with one yet, but that's mainly because the folks I end up with either don't care or think they're cool. Society seems to have gone a bit tattoo mad. I'm no hater, and I'm about to get a comparatively tame one myself. But tattoos not done well, or "too much of a good thing", are a turn off for me. No grim reapers or flaming motorcycles, please. Mothers, I'm so pleased that you have four children, but their little footprints on your back with their birthdates is kind of weirding me out. And if I should see a Nike "swish" or a playboy bunny... Oh and while they're pretty enough, I have a personal vendetta against sakura/Japanese cherry blossoms. Don't ask. The way I see it is that getting a tattoo is always going to be a polariser. Ya gotta accept that some will like it, some will hate it, and it can have an impact on your life. It's a choice and a lot of choices have inherent risk and consequences. But if your tattoo is very meaningful for you and the potential partner carte blanche hates it, well, I guess in a way they're rejecting you and it wasn't meant to be after all.

Nice young plumber just visited as I was posting that. Sakura. On his upper arm. On a tradie. On an Anglo-Australian male tradie.

Quoting 'justjuice' Saying to go all out with tatts or nothing at all is BS.. I believe Bris and I were referring more to a guy who has a random tiny bluebird on his arm.... Slippery - ease up now, he's showing his feminine side! That's kinda sexy!

I have a few scattered all over the place, and a labrette piercing. I went through a stage where i'd stick metal through anything, nose, cock, scrote, nipples, ears. You can have too much of a good thing though. I drew the line at subdermal implants and tongue splitting. Nat ;)

Generally I'd agree with you Apollo, just really have a problem with those damn flowers. C'mon folks. There are thousands of different species of flower. Just pick one of the others.

We're members on another site and in their profile criteria theres the option to advise if you have Tatts or not. Maybe RHP should look at it for their profile criteria, so not to get to the point of play to be rejected once you get your gear off. Let's face it a big % of the population have Tatts in this day and age, and some ppl just don't like them..Each to their own..

If you are turned down because you have a tatt or a lot of them. Or piercings for that matter. Would you really want to meet that person? Should they not want to get to know you and what you are into - not what you wear etc! Never judge a book by its cover as they say!

They're not a turn-off, they're just not a turn-on. as a person thats inked, ibelieve nowadays the whole tattoo thing has lost alot of its street cred. i got my first one done 20 years ago, and goddammit i felt 10% tougher. haha. which leads me to choice of tattoos and this is only my opinion so please dont torch me. cartoon figures belong on t.v. not splayed across butt cheeks. chinese lettering should be saved for the chinese. when is the last time you saw a manchurian with a tattoo saying "freedom". i have ancient greek scroll that reflects my background. boyfriend/girlfriend's names - you are just courting disaster with that one. any names should be reserved for blood relatives. relative to piercings, no. just a simple no.

For me it depends on what they are and where they are ..... Definately don't like facial piercings! Have to say I am a bit of a sucker for good ink

Having said that, however, if a person changes their mind about the piercing, usually they can just take them out and it will heal over. A tattoo's for life.

I find Tatts and Piercings incredibly attractive on women as long as they are well placed and mean something to the individual. I agree..no show pony tatts or tuff stickers... Planning on getting my first piercing done soon...and stilll thinking on what sort of Ink means enough to me to indelibly mark myself with...Roman numerals of birth year (MCMLXX) with a scottish flag upper inside of arm is where I am at the moment...thanks for the post..good topic..

She would have gotten facial piercings but I don't like them (I didn't say, "No way!) so she didn't bother. I'm also unimpressed with genital piercings. I would not rule a playmate out because of piercings if we got along other wise.

The tattoo & the piercing. On the whole I like them, but I am both tattooed and pierced myself so I would say that wouldn't I? Mr PP though as neither. He certainly likes the way I look. :)

We don't really care one way or the other with tattoos, we both have one. Provided it's not a goat sacrificing a child or something similarly horrendous. Piercings must be clean and well kept. While we were looking for a house to buy we were being shown around by this one real estate agent who had a jewel in her nose surrounded by red crusty inflamed skin... ICK! We didn't want to even sit in her car... Never thought about the PA but never having seen one wouldn't it pose a tearing risk in a condom???

That thread I as refering to, "Ladies with tattoos", was only February/March. Triumph12408 made a relevant comment shortly before the thread was closed; why judge? Why do people without tattoo's judge people that have them? People with tattoo's dont judge a person because they dont have them
