  Book an area of a club ... rsl or leagues club ... and have two-three helium filled balloon tired to an anchor sitting on the table ... advertise the specific color of the balloons in the invite ..... makes it easier to find people. alternate is to pin s specific colour ribbon to left lapel ... helps spot people at the bar ..etc. - Posted from rhpmobile

  at the venue is a great way to go. Then you can have some control as to who attends or rather wafts in, to the event. Make sure you are very specific in the description of the event- that it is a meet & greet, not a meet & fuck, not an orgy etc etc (unless it is of course!). It is amazing how many people presume social meet & greets are actually a play party. Register the event under the Events & Clubs tab.....how to list an event is pretty self explanatory. Its usually a good idea to contact everyone who registers for the event by way of a message on this site. Also, you won't be able to see what guests have registered for the event, so it's a good idea to include a line in the write up which says something like "if you are a guest send us the when & where flirt and we will be in contact with you." Give people at least three weeks notice... the more you give the greater turn out usually. It can take up to a week for an event listing to be approved and appear, so factor that in! Post a thread in adult forums as well so people can ask questions and make comments. Also, expect that around 1/3 to 1/2 of those who register will actually show up. On_Safari has just arranged the event listing for the next Brissy Meet & greet so have a look at that for ideas. I've organised a couple in Melbourne with my co-conspirator Ralf, so feel free to PM either of us if you want more advice. They are a load of fun so I hope you enjoy!

  I would also suggest that you plan it around yourself and not try to cater to everyone else as you won't satisfy all of the people all of the time. There will be some who unfortunately can't make it but after you have done it once, it is easy to do again and again and maybe they can make it another time, otherwise it will do your head in trying to please everyone. Like when you say to your mates, let's catch up...if you don't make a time and date, it will never happen so just do it and things will fall into place. Pick a venue that has a bit of room and people can mingle and not somewhere too busy or you have people on top of people. Loud music is not a good atmosphere for chatting and getting to know people so maybe somewhere with a nice acoustic player or ambient music. People who are inclined to attend these things are great fun anyway so regardless, you will have a fun time so you should just do it.

  Yes please.... the last two I attended was fun and met lots of people, specially new ones and those lurkers in the forum. Lol. Will await the next meet and hopefully I will not be interstate or outside the country on my work posting.... You and KissK always put up a great job and your choice of venue is excellent. I missed out on a couple of Melbourne fun drinks meet already as I was away. so here's crossing everything i can...

  I have had a few and I asks people if hey want to be recognised as from rHP then put a red dot on the top of their hand or in that soft spot between thumb and finger. the reason is that my first meet and greet it was a bit confusing as to who was who as it was a crowded bar. I also went to one where the organised had both rhp and non rhp people there but forgot to tell the rhp folk and we had no cover story. One of my girlfriends as the guy next to her what his user name was on RHP. He gave her a blank stare and said what are you talking about? The penny dropped that not all the guests were from RHP. The last one in Mandurah , we did the fake birthday thing, were it was Amys Birthday. Another , I went to it was a writers group, this just stops sticky beak people that you do not want to tell the truth to. Sydney we were in a public area at the Sheraton bar so that worked well, so did the bloody after party when my mini bar got drunk dry, those RHP beasts know how to party hard. And like others say, its a social event, and not some pants of fuck fest. I had a great time last Saturday and met some lovely folk it turned out a good time in little old Mandurah, whoda thunk it. I took a non RHP girlfriend to one and never told her what it was. After we left she said boy that was an odd bunch , the guys were asking me if I do anal and have i fucked you? I told her what it was and she punched me in the arm, hard! owwww
