Emotions & Love

Most of us in the forums have been in the lifestyle for many years and have learnt the art of controlled emotional intelligence. Very much knowing the difference between fun, lust, high emotions and those which extend further towards the love scale. I thought would be great to pass on some knowledge to those new to this wonderful world. What advice would the RHP brains trust give to others on the subject of emotions? Also, how many of you have found love here? I found love on RHP in 2012 just after RHP brought in the mobile app which we were all so excited about lol. Though that relationship ended in 2017 I don't regret it and we are still platonic friends.

The more you talk to your partner the better, we talked a lot leading up to going to our first club and then had a really good chat to discuss everything that happened the next day. Repeat, repeat, repeat

I never thought it to be an intelligent thing to restrain from allowing yourself to feel. Id rather just be vulnerable and let my feelings flow naturally.

I've said this before but biggest thing for me was identifying that, like everyone, I have a need for validation. This is not a productive place to get validation and as a guy (at least) being needy for validation is unattractive on here. Find other healthy places to get your validation and come here on business.

The problem begins trying to avoid emotions, also sharing an understanding with what meanings emotions carry and empathy or jealousy, compersion compassion, honesty, respect, friendship, no strings attached fun.a gangbang with 10 men with no names in front of hubby, are you in it together or not. So many emotions, suppressing the ones hurtful or threatening, uncomfortable is not as good as understanding what they mean and a place to put them and put them everywhere, sometimes you need to go there. I may say to Tara, I don’t feel comfortable with something, if that something is what you would want then I have the choice to no want to, not that I ask her not to do, tell her she can’t, so we agree to care to something that has a meaning we share, care, love each other and maintain, regularly, that takes reminders put into place always. Learnt alot about myself and others regarding sexual orientation. Made some great long life friends. Also lost some of my dearest friends. The lifestyle can be a awesome experience and it also can be like living in hell.
