I enjoy it as a teasing form of punishment but not in a violent or hardcore way. For example, in Dom sub play when I’ve been instructed to stay still or quiet and I don’t, then it can be hot. In regular play I enjoy the sensation used sparingly, I find it helps to connect me to my body more and pulls me out of my overactive ADHD brain.
