Its Official: Australia has the highest rates of sexual indulgence.
The Latest Global Sex Survey revealed some interesting figures on Australians sex lives. According to the Durex survey, Australia is one of the most sexually liberated nations when it comes to sexual indulgence. Some of our kinky habits include playing with blindfolds and handcuffs (40%, well above the average of 22%), and role-playing (22% above the global average). Other dominant features of our sex lives include watching porn with our partners, with 55% saying they are in favour and a surprising greater number of women enjoy this more then their male partners. Australians are also very fond of their sex toys with 47% of all Australians admitting to playing with them compared to the global average of just 20%. In fact Australia is one of the world leaders in individual ownership of vibrators, trailing just behind Iceland . I guess it can get kind of lonely during those long northern winter nights. There have been positive trends on other fronts. The number of times Australians are rooting per year has jumped from 84 times a year in 2001 to 103 times a year in 2004. If this trend continues we will have to wait until around February, 2015, to overtake those randy French who currently manage to get their freak on a whopping 137 time a year.
