...in the gym, the yoga studio, the great outdoors, a routine in your own home, or wherever you like to exercise!

Exercise is very important for me in maintaining my mental and physical health. I have been pretty sporadic with an exercise routine in the past but I am now doing my best to maintain a routine of regular physical activity. I mentioned on another thread that I actually feel at my sexiest after a good workout...sweat, messy hair, sore limbs and all. Obviously exercise gets all those good chemicals flowing, plus it provides a sense of achievement that can really boost our self esteem and self image.

My libido is also higher when I exercise regularly and I often feel horny after a workout (I think in addition to the above that's probably because the gym can also be a really good place for some visual stimulation....as long as you do it secretly of course )

What sort of exercise do you like to do, how do you do it, how does it make you feel, and how does it impact your libido and sex life?

Seriously though...

I get a mean workout in the mining game, 12 hour days in the heat eating just green apples thru the day over 2 weeks lets me lose a lot of weight easily, my week off consists of a daily 2 hour pool session, kickboxing and weight training followed by at least an hour in the sauna. Being ex military I also love walking long distances with heavy weight on my back...nothing more fun than that especially in another country like Morocco...walking alone through the Sahara was amazing...no phones no internet and no BS...I highly recommend this. And if you do it...soak your feet in diesel for a few days as that turns skin into leather and stops blisters....god I'm getting horny thinking about it now...I fkn love pain!

opposite libido

if we have a hard workout my libido drops to non exitant ,as i drag my jelly like body out ,nearly falling down gutters and stumble to the car thinking iโ€™m done ,gimme sleep, can barely hold the steering wheel ,so much so ,i refuse to go to the gym and work out hard if we are going playing on the weekend ๐Ÿ˜ณ

for the self worth aspect , for the first time ever in my life, i can look at the mirror and think yeah not bad buddy out got no hair left,lol, but keep going ,your gettin it ,and for my job the older i get the harder it feels so that aspect. i need to keep going just to keep strong ,age ainโ€™t no excuse

we mainly do strength. training with a bit of cardio , but now have to be mindful of a small tear. in mrs b knee from twisting in the back yard ,and me iโ€™ve got golfers elbow from 9 hours on a jackhammer ๐Ÿ˜ณso we just tailor our stuff to suit us

anyone know some good glute exersizes. that wonโ€™t hurt knees ,apparently my ass needs work ,lmao if iโ€™m doing them she is doing them too

Impact on libido? Can't say. The weather impacts on libido more than anything else. Often too cold now to take clothes off even to masturbate ;)

Libido

For me the relationship between exercise and libido comes from feeling good.
Mexercise had taught me to be strong and confident. Itโ€™s taught me to admire and respect my body. That admiration and respect and strength and confidence I have for myself increases my libido- I feel good and I want to share that feeling good with others..

Training.....

We both train weekdays. Separate gyms, Mr has a gym at work & Mrs gym & martial arts training. We feel great after a shower at the gym, horny, no exhausted, especially after martial arts training, Iโ€™m looking for a radox spa bath, especially when itโ€™s a session with weaponary!

There are a few tricks for that. Standard push-ups with your hands on a bench. Explosive push-ups on your knees. Standard negatives. :)

when you get paid to exercise.
I do a fair bit of incidental exercise in my job ,which is good. I couldn't ever work in a job again where I'm stuck at a desk all day.

Pistol squats

With no supports and 40kg deadlifts are my pride achievements (boys, I am only little don't scoff). I don't have great upper body strength but have lots of thigh and booty power for bedroom wrestling. Weight training has done wonders for my body confidence and ups my drive every time.

Same as boobs_or_bust though, too hard and libido lowers for a little while (except after heavy legs sessions, then itโ€™s high but legs donโ€™t work properly). Nothing better than working up a sweat, and a few times have had to race into the showers for a quickie ๐Ÿ˜‰

I run every morning and try to do a few body weight exercises like push ups, chin ups and squats and bit of HIT training BUT this morning it was 0 degrees and frost everywhere. I questioned my sanity. Took 3kms before I could feel my hands LOL. But the playlist was good.

Also do yoga, especially hot yoga in Winter. Feels like 1 hour trip to the tropics. Love it. Walk the dogs. Bike riding and swimming in summer.

Exercise clears my mind and helps me cope with life. I try to look after myself as best I can. If I don't do it I, feel my mood dip. Superficially, I also want my ass not to sag and to eat chocolate when I want to. I like being able to wear what I want and feel comfortable in my clothes and naked. I do feel better about myself when I am fit. Lately I have put on a few kilos and I am really happy. My boobs have returned so yay for that.

Like CT my libido fluctuates with the seasons. Winter is a bit of a non event and all the exercise in the world doesn't seem to change it. I'm not bothered, it seems these things go in cycles for me as a single person. Was different when I had a partner. He could keep me warm then. :)

upper body

depends on what part ,arms back ,chest ,or core ,we like to make sure we do the opposite side of the exersize ,to keep it all balanced ,so when do arms with lots of bicep work we also do triceps or chest is mixed in with back work ,

hereโ€™s some fun from tonight look up 21 s do four sets and follow it up with. 4 sets of ten tricep push-ups keep those tucknshop arms in check

we also like to do a core or abs thing at the end of every night just for added pain and no pleasure eg decline crunches ,planks ,twist and raise with weights ,or the ever popular back extensions ๐Ÿ˜‚
