Welcome!

A place to talk and share about **what ever really tickles your fancy, news, food, drinks, TV shows, movies, your highlights of the week, etc etc just like you would meeting friends/coworkers, meet ups, in a coffee shop. ☕

**As a gentle reminder the Forum Posting guidelines:

(Cut and pasted from the Forum help section, "Stay on Topic".)

QUOTE: From now on, if we notice a considerable shift in discussions (ie - people going off topic), the Topic will either be shut down or the poster who takes the Topic off track (on purpose and with no regard for other people) may be banned from posting for a period of time that they feel is appropriate.

If someone has taken a Topic off track deliberately and with malicious intent, please feel free to report that user.

Playful banter and exchange is fine but as a matter of etiquette, please consider if that in itself is causing the topic to go off track. Keep it to a minimum!

Take a seat, place your order, wind down, relax and enjoy. 👍

I just proved...

...that a bloody cockroach can survive 45 seconds on high in a 1000 watt microwave oven.

Don't ask how or why but in the event of a nuclear disaster, all hail the new rulers of this planet!

Quad shot espresso please with full cream milk frothed and served in my large and well-seasoned cup!

Well SuperFoxxxy, they say, location, location, location, seems splendid. Right by the town square, pub a few doors up and a cinema on the other side of the square. Mrs. urn. is busy preparing the evening meal, I'm sure she'll pop in from time to time, you can't miss her, fun and loud. Now, if I could have a table out the front in the corner, thanks. Ah, and tea thanks, don't drink coffee. I'll sit here and watch the local folk.

I have been wondering on my walk here though, does our Solar System have a name. Given people's penchant of naming pretty much everything, just never heard more than, The Solar System. Perhaps it's one of those zx4862beta7 type of names, maybe, this is something to rectify 😊 . Ooo, nice cups.

Mr. urn.

Irish coffee perhaps?

I registered the kid for a soccer clinic in the coming school holidays. Brisbane Roar folks are running it. Two days, 3 hours per day, that's 6 hours. The registration confirmation has the clinic on from 9am on a Monday to midday on the Tuesday. I haven't laughed that hard for weeks.

Yay for coffee

Few things better than a good latte. The trick is finding one, and someone to enjoy it with.

Superfoxxxy

Thankyou for this wonderful coffee shop

I will have a large skinny caramel latte with 2 equals please. I am sure people wonder why I have skinny with so much sweetness added in. Haven't had full cream milk for 15 years just makes me feel sick. I have always had a sweet tooth.

Oh and a scones with jam and cream please.

Might sit outside and observe the peeps going past, hoping someone interesting will ask to sit at my table as I love to chat, watching people going by is my favourite thing.

I think this coffee shop will be a huge success

Ms M

Hows everyones

Easter going so far ?
Good/Great/just short of sensational?............Fantastic, pull up a chair and let me tell you about mine.

Left the easter egg buying to the last minute, not due to laziness, but they always go 30-50% off if you leave it late.
YES!! A win for a change

Get home last night and the dog has found my stash......Quickly realising that the amount of gold foil didn't match the number of stolen chocolate, i take him to the vet.

Induced vomiting etc, only then to get a lecture from the vet who fuck knows how, finds a grape in his vomit and tells me that this can cause renal failure.

So, im looking, and feeling like shit now, dog has a smile a mile wide..........and the bill!!
Most expensive easter eggs I've ever bought.

Good Friday...

We're treating ourselves to home made prawn linguine for dinner, which will probably be close to midnight at the rate we move, lol.

We have some sushi left over from the class I attended yesterday, that will sustain us in the meantime, or there is a huge packet of smoked salmon.

We only have one person to buy eggs for Gr8, so the grandie can have the fun of a Easter Hunt. We're looking at adding some cheap Lego to that hunt to avoid adding too much to the high amounts of chocolate donations, lol. Maybe we should pack them in the large, plastic Kinder Toy eggs from previous Easters.

That was some weird grape expectations, sorry to hear about the bill, happy for the dog! Peachy

MsMidnight, sits at the table :-)

I used to looove working at Boans in Perth. One of my best memories from there is the tea and scones that used to be a bargain in the coffee shop on one of the lower floors.

A pot of tea is a special thing isn't it? Peachy, feeling homely
