Melbourne nude beaches

March 30 2019

Heading to Melbourne next week. Looking to visit a nude beach as the sun seems to still be about. Would Sunnyside be a good day out to check out and engage some lovely mature ladies that may appreciate a mature conversation and anything else that may develop :-)

Sunny side is nice, but don’t be a creeper, which your comments are giving off the vibe

No. Just no. What you've described is exactly why women cringe at the thought of going to a nude beach for a day relaxing in the sun. Creepers.🧟‍♂️🧟‍♂️

Jeez i said conversation. In Perth at Swanbourne and Warnboro i have said hello to ladies and we have both been nude and chatted so i didn't get a vibe that is was creepy. So in Melbourne you reckon i should just keep to mtself and say nothing? Maybe keep my greeting a conversation to Scummy Perth :-)

Actually you said "Conversation and anything else that may develop". And I'm all for being left in peace when I'm at the nude beach.... as a solo or with my hubby/lover/friend.

Blu........ Your agenda isn’t mature conversation and your defensive and sarcastic post proves you’re probably not capable of it

There’s no point blaming others for that . It just advertises your red flags

If the weather here is anything like today, 13c and horizontal driving rain, good luck!!

Fatfunfeisty I understand your personal preference and would respect that. Conversation would allow me to gauge this preference. As this is a swingers site i also expect others may welcome my interest in them and get to know me and i hope not pre-judge me as a creep if i show interest in building a relationshipship. I am happy for them to show interest in me. Anyway i may not make the effort as it sounds like a group of angry locals might drag up the creepy dunes and hang me up by my balls if i try to talk to one of the locals LOL. Only joking i come over for the footy and finally might have some warm weather so i will tread very careful when i try out the beach. New to this game so thanks for the feedback.

Yes please don’t approach me at a nude beach I’m there for sun sand and surf and not for anything you might think will develop.
You guys don’t get it at a nude beach do you

    OP in your own words

    “Check out and engage “

“ anything else that may develop :-) “

Cleary your primary objective, in going to a nude beach, is not to enjoy the sun, sand & water, but to rather “check out “ (perve on ?) the women, engage (harass?) them ..... and try to ultimately get some pussy ???

Wow, syrong opions based on one post new to the scene and site. If i didnt have any hang ups i sure have a few now with all this judgement from those who dont know me from a bar of soap. I hope we dont have any new fragile members who arent academically gifted trying to find their way as these attacks might do some rral damage. Dont stress i am definately giving the scene a miss in all forms based on these over reactions. Sounds like no room for error. Will stick to the footy only when it comes to Melbourne. Might have better luck with the Afghanistan dating scene.

I'm a nudist and would never go to those beaches due to creepers.

    It's not rocket science.

Women feel vulnerable sitting in a park by themselves fully clothed.

How do think they feel sitting on a beach by themselves with no clothes and you happen along looking for some action with your dick swinging in the breeze?

It's just the way life is these days and the reason women cannot go to a nudist beach by herself and feel safe

There is a knee jerk reaction by many about men approaching women (or couples for that matter) on a nudist beach. You are new to the scene, and as many other new people have found out, there is not an automatic link between nudity and sex. Particularly when it involves being nude on a beach.

I know that beach, its close enough to me to be my regular beach, but unfortunately I don't feel safe going on my own. Many other women I know feel the same, whether they are in the swinging scene or not.

What you think works for you on WA beaches may not work here. Also, and I don't know enough about the conversations you have had on WA beaches, maybe just consider wherher the women you speak to really did engage in conversation, or whether they miminally participated in the conversation for safety sake.... if they left soon after, or gave you fake contact details, or started reading - or any other avoidance tactic - you have your answer.

Nude beaches are for the most part, for people who like being nude. People who identify as nudists are not by default interested in sex with relative strangers. In fact most nudist camps or groups frown on that behaviour.

There are so many other ways and places you can engage in mature conversations with women. Melbourne is a big place, with loads of fabulous places you can meet women. Try other places, even if only for the sake of the locals on the beach 😊

MsJonesy, thank you for your detailed post. Its was most appreciated to be informed without the judgement. I tried to post in the hot travel part of the forum but maybe i missed it and ended up elsewhere or its meaning was different than i expected. Didnt mean to offend.

Most men don’t mean to offend but I agree with Ms Jonesy and well said too. Maybe go to a nude beach and wait for the women to approach you and that way you will know for sure they are interested, if they don’t then you have your answer.

Melbourne has fantastic bars and clubs to meet and interact with others.

You could also try the RHP DateFinder and travel features.

    Some tips for your profile:

Put up some interesting photos onto your profile and verify your profile too.

    Also fix the typo "careing".

Unfortunately we seem to be a very critical bunch. All the best on the dating scene!

Sorry blu, they really should have an ‘enter at your own risk’ sign on the forums.
We can’t speak for Melbourne nude beaches as we’ve never been there but the ones we have that are well patronised have, without exception, the same diverse group of users. Many naturalists that purely enjoy getting leathery and engaging with friends. Very occasional visitors that are thrilled with the idea of being sans clothes in the ocean and the sun. Voyeurs male and female. Exhibitionists male and female. And the others that can have an element of all the above but with more of a sexual inclination.
Like any place that is a non mainstream location and activity, they require understanding, reference and learning. It’s pretty easy to work out through observation who is there for what reason and to know the areas where certain things occur and where they certainly do not. Simply put, the beach os for everyone and shouldnimclude all the social graces of anywhere else. Locate yourself or selves near the dunes or secluded areas then that’s pretty clearly understood too.
So really blu it’s the same as anywhere, respect others and their choices and don’t make others feel uncomfortable. you know... same as the forums really!?!? 👌

Thanks Fred and Ginger, John and Yoko your feedback has been great. Some good info from you and others so i know how to move forward. My first post was a little try hard and a misjudgment of how to engage fellow swingers but wont make that mistake again .I will need to have a good think as now i am a little reluctant to maintain a presence or post photos as i feel vunerable for further judgement due to the direction of the earlier posts tagging me with certain qualities. I imagine others do research and i may have poisoned my profile. As i am only in Melbourne for the weekend and a bit. I will get home and then decide if to stay with Meetups or have a proper and more careful attempt with a more adventorous dating site. Cheers
