Gratitude journal

If you're game: Name something you are thankful for today.

Let's remind ourselves and each other of the great things in life we don't always see, or have forgotten about.
My hope is that we all come up with (even) more than we expect to.

Today I am grateful that my mum and dad are happy and healthy.

I'm grateful

My local cafe knows my coffee order and starts making it the minute I walk in the door. Great service, we always have a few laughs, and I leave with a smile on my face and a cup of delight in my hand.

Incredibly grateful

That I have a husband who balances out my excess energy. I'm full on whatever I'm feeling. And that's from moment to moment sometimes. Anxiety sucks to live with.

And I had fun experiencing real people while out shopping today, and making so many of them smile after reading a lovely message to the general public on the Mind, Body & Spirit thread. I'm usually pretty much like that any way.

We saw an awesome chime that was cheap as chips and actually bought it instead of me doing the usual... Remember that for Mother's Day / Birthday / etc... I love chimes. We've put it near the front door for now where it has a very good chance of taking the head off a regular tall visitor! It's shaped, and the metal tubes work, like a xylophone.

I'm grateful for me, for all the effort I put in to try to be a better than I have been. I'm grateful for every step forward I take, and every step back that teaches me lessons.

I'm grateful for the people who challenge me and inspire new trains of thought.

And of course, I'm grateful for my friends. The one's I can disagree with and agree with and stroke the egos of because I can see they deserve it and recognition of that is always a good thing.

Yeah, that'll likely do for now... You caught me on a good day... Peachy

I'm grateful..

..For my health. Because Life is certainly worth living.

And for my mothers good health. Because I want her to be around for some time yet.
She's not just a relative, she's my good friend.

Gotta

be grateful for healthiness... and the good friends. Especially when they are the ones we love the most. I'm not sure if you know of the "Love Is..." quotes. I have a stickery thing that had to be rubbed off from the plastic sheet it was on with a coin, onto the surface you wanted it on.

Anyway, ahem, The one I have on a small heart shaped choccie box from way longer ago than you need to know, says... "Love is... Being married to your best friend".

I deeply admire your relationship with your mum. Peachy

I’m eternally grateful

To my dad, the man who has given me so much. He worked from age 15 to 59 as a dairy farmer, the resolve and steadfastly approach to just getting stuff done for your family was and still is amazing. Because my dad never had the choice to choose his career he made damn sure I would. Thanks for setting us free old man.

I cherish every moment we shared when you retired, the happiness you had even though you lives the last 9 years of your life with cancer. Quite simply I’m in awe of the man you are, because in my eyes you are still here beside me.

Eternally grateful 😘

Now I have a tears running, running with love old man.

Health obviously

But after spending 3 years in Sth America with half of that time being in the remote outback of some countries, I am incredibly grateful for hot water on tap and electricity. Two things we take for granted every day .Trying living without it for months. The luxury of washing your hair in hot water and just letting the warm water run down your back is something I'm grateful for and treasure every morning.
