Byron Bay

September 02 2019

Hi all.
Wife and I are heading to Byron in a couple of months. Wanting to spend sometime at a nude beach, just seeing what ones are couple friendly without too many lurkers.
Also open to any other “couples only” activities worth doing while up there.
Any suggestions would be appreciated

We've been to Tyagarah Beach a few times, however it does have the usual lurkers and meerkats. Pretty sure one guy was taking photos of us too .... but whatever!

I know it’s going to be hard to get away from. It just annoys you when you can’t relax.

As a single bloke that like to relax there at tyagarah aswell you still get the lurkers and I find if you stay in the main part just down it’s ok. It gets wierd further down the beach

I go there. Havent had any issues going with a friend or by myself

Be warned tho, as you go down Grey Lane heading to Tyagarh, heading onto the dirt road, is the Tea Tree lakes. It is a sacred woman’s place and was for birthing. Men are not suspose to go or allowed, but they do. It is very disrespectful to the aboriginal local people. Police do monitor this area.

It’s fine there now, the creeps have been drive out by local nudist & police.
If you want to play be careful as police are now fining people.
It’s so much better then a yr ago or so.

We go quite regularly and where there just a cpl of months ago. Firstly, make sure you pay the park fees in the carpark ( about 7 or 8 dollars from memory) or chances are you will get a fine. Only strip off in the designated area, police do check on this and will have a talk to you if you go outside the zone. I did get really bad as far as creaps go there a year or two ago, but regular sun loving people and the Australian Naturist Federation have worked really hard to clean it up, its a beautiful beach and sure you will love it.

Just back from byron t8day and my first time. Really worth it. I know mid week so probably less people than a weekend. Everyone spread out. No lurkers

Only went on the beach part. Wasn't sure about the dunes area

Used to be only lurkers in the dunes so we have never been up to them, we just enjoy the beach and a chat to anyone who wants a chat. Have meet some lovely people there.

After not being at Tyagarah for afew years, we decided to on our holiday to Byron and walking straight past the sign that shows the designated area now, we were about 15m away and had been there nearly all day, swimming and sun, low and behold cunstable clod biatch comes down and nails us and evevryone else does the bolt....easy targets we guess....even came down to walking out the steps shorts we were....to make a point...
Glad to hear its cleaned out the meerkats/lurkers and tards.
Could be worth going back again sometime to enjoy the day...

no there wasn't and we were only about 15m away from the zone as they say its marked, constable plod biatch marched it out and then marched us back to carpark and car to get ID and then as F here didn't have any purse bag etc didn't believe I was married to him and so on.....we laugh about it now considering what we have seen over time in the lifestyle but at the time it was a bit are you for real.....
