  You will need to have proof of being vaccinated before you do anything .. And as Annie said ' there are still many Australians caught overseas because of Covid wanting to get back , so i doubt if it will be anytime soon. But nothing wrong with striking up some friendships while your waiting...

  Yes, we are totally aware of the situation. Supposed to travel in March for work purpose but postponed till June. Let’s see if Australia allow vaccinated overseas travellers around June. If not then it could be further delayed.
