Swinging Safari - ticket give-away & review!

The Swinging Safari takes a look at the Australian life in the 1970s, the sun, the surf, the BBQ, and the swinging

Swinging Safari follows what happens to three neighbouring families in a quiet Australian suburb when an incredible event shakes their lives.

The beach town suddenly hits the spotlight after the body of a 200-ton whale is washed ashore, the whole town thinks it's the biggest thing that ever happened in their lives.

Meanwhile, the eccentric parents are catching up with the sexual revolution that has also washed up on Australia's beaches. They get involved in a good old-fashioned key party. And just like the decaying whale, it's all about to go spectacularly wrong.

Safari presents a hilarious snapshot of Aussie beach culture at the time including the chain smoking, non-stop drinking, unsupervised children running amok and the sexual experimentation.

“Safari” gets to the swinging part of the title with gusto. A disastrous wife-swapping party triggers a war of words and comically violent payback.

Watch the outrageously cockeyed, slaphappy, Stralyan trailer with many kooky bits:

Swinging Safari's cast includes Asher Keddie, Julian McMahon, Kylie Minogue, Guy Pearce, Radha Mitchell and Jeremy Sims, and will be released on 18 January 2018.
