Shemale is the name given to trans who are and stay pre op specifically for the purpose of sexual activity usually they are enhanced to look female in every way they can, except one of course. Another variant in the TG spectrum. Re the OP, lst time I looked I wasn't a fantasy....

But trans people I'm pretty sure aren't referred to as shemale. Trans man or woman are also people not just a fantasy and I'm assuming by "full" you mean fully transitioned, which would make them male or female.

I have many friends that come under the transgender banner. From the casual cross dressers to the full op and the multitude of shades in between. As with all people we are all individuals and our personalities are as varied as any group. As I am BI gender does not have much significance to me in regards to enjoying the sensuality of people. What does piss me off from time to time is that some will make assumptions about my attitude towards them, I am not blind, nor am I stupid, nor do I discriminate, nor do I believe that you represent an easy root. If I approach someone I am interested in getting to know the person and gender for the most part is irrelevant. If we get along then we may become friends, if not, well nice to meet you. For the very few that have a chip on their shoulders just drop it I am not interested (in person, here in the forums I am interested).
Some like to be called shemales, others not, its all far to confusing for me so i will keep it simple and refer to you by name, or in the third person, he, she, him, her... I know of no other pronouns and lord forbid (for just a few) I use the wrong adjective.
In the forums, go for it and be active, be heard, and educate the ignorant, tell us what pisses you off. I love to stand on my BI soap box. As for personally if you are the type that must judge me, please don't as I am not judging you.
If I have offended, sorry, I don't know you and I am just having a whinge based on personal experience.

I prefer to call a transgender women just that a woman if she believes that's who she is then iwill refer to her as a woman. Each to there own. I am bisexual but I call myself Tim not a bi guy.
