My mother cut my beautiful long hair as punishment, when I was in Grade 3. She cut it at lunchtime and I then had to return to school after lunch - it was the most soul destroying moment of my young life ATM!
It would be my absolute hard limit ....

I have never had any punishment haircut to date, nor would I do it to myself as I see it as an act of self-harm if I did. So, I won't do it to myself nor to other people because, I am not into any form of harming, even if I was asked to punish by someone who might have punishment haircut as their fetish.

I never had long hair as a child because after the age of seven my mother made sure I looked as much like a boy as possible.In other words very short haircuts
Now I choose to have quite short hair but styled.

Thats awful. I remember my friends mum, a beautiful lady who had terminal cancer, telling me that one of the worst things was losing all her hair. Not only was she ill but she felt that her femininity had gone. When I was young a very pretty girl had her long curly blonde hair hacked off by other jealous girls. A punishment for being too pretty??? Women are proud of their hair, it is a big part of us and how we express ourselves. So cutting off my hair would def be a punishment for me and I would not like it. Im still so proud of my friend Uni who shaved her long locks off for cancer last year xx

I didn't know it was a submissive punishment ( but imagining you're dominant and it's a bit symbolic,like grabbing the pony tail,cutting it off and holding it high in the air, a bit like Native American Indian scalping?)but I was talking to my FB who is a hairdresser, and I was thinking along the lines of an erotic haircut. Restrained and rigged up in ropes would be a nice touch. Similar exp to Mary except it was because I would scream bloody murder having my hair brushed so my mother cut it up to my ears as a child . have heard of this and it would be an absolute hard limit for me

I follow the 24 hour rule..... don't leave a mark that lasts longer than 24 hours.
So unless your have some supernatural ability to regrow your hair (which is a bit scary really) then its a no.RHP User

The markings that are left are part of the whole experience. 24 hrs isn't enough!! Lordy no!! My last little sojourn left lovely imprints for 2 weeks!! Kept me smiling every time I looked at them.(and markings aren't always caused from impact...just saying)
So I can kind of imagine 2 compatable ppl into the hair "thing". And it would work for them, especially in the next few months as it would still be a reminder.RHP User

As a hairdresser and someone who has been interested in the beauty industry all my life, stories of hair hacking for punishment or caused by jealousy just really, really upset me!! Words can't describe how it makes me feel!

Perfectly on point.
For me it would be a hard limit also. Not because of a childhood memory (although I had some pretty embarrassing haircuts) but because I consider it not just punishment but a form of humiliation.
It would give me the same feeling as being slapped across the face which personally is another form of humiliation. Give me a good old spanking any day though! And yes I had several wooden implements broken on my arse as a child 😉RHP User
