depends on the boots, the whole outfit, where they're worn too, and why they're worn.
IMO knee high isn't all THAT tall to be outside the realms of regular fashion anyway, over-the-knee is a bit out there, but I've seen plenty of girls in knee-highs with jeans on and they just look nice.RHP User

It's about what else you wear with them. FMBs with layered winter office wear is a differnt look to pairing them with a micro mini and a bra...

When I lived in Scotland. Find it too warm to wear them here as a fashion accessory but for a sexy photo shoot, yes!

Knee-high and thigh-high (over-the-knee) boots actually make the legs look longer. That's why I love mine because I'm a shortie 😀

Are we talking knee-high or thigh-high? I have plenty of both, but most my thigh-high boots have flat soles and I wear them with long jumpers.
The only kinky boots I own are the ones I'm wearing in one of my pics, but then they are vinyl and have 4-inch heels. ;-)RHP User

on the style of the boot and what you're wearing them with. In cold climates you see women wearing them everywhere and most of them don't look sleazy at all. Wearing a stiletto pair with fishnets sends a different message though (although I don't really like the word 'sleazy').
Also disagree that you need to be tall to wear them, I'm a shortie and think I can pull them off fine, as tulips said they tend to elongate the legs (it's ankle and calf high boots you need to be careful with if you're short). Just wish I had more opportunities to wear mine, where I live I'm lucky if I get to take them out twice a year.

Some people see them as 'fuck me boots' others know they are sexy but are not necessarily 'asking for it' ... Plus, they also just look fantastic. ☺️

And we stumbled across them in an op shop (I'll never forget my friend yelling across the shop, Uni, get over here!) Thigh high skin tight Italian Leather....$30....but the most awesome thing for me is that they are flats! Fit perfectly...how could I resist??
Can't say I'd wear them anywhere other than swingers parties but I've had many people ask and love telling that story!RHP User

I love knee high boots and I wear them even if ppl may think different thoughts about them I love them cause there comfortable. I say who cares what others think if ya like to wear them n can pull off a natural look why not :)

Wear knee-high boots over my skinny jeans or stockings (when I was in skirt or dress) almost the whole of the winter season, before the climate changed. I haven't been able to wear my boots without getting my legs and feet "cooked" in the past two winters! The weather has been too warm for me to wear them and so they have lost my love 😛
So, boots are fashion in my eyes and I don't care what people see me as when I'm in my boots because, what others think of me is none of my business! :-)

...All are leather, most are black, one is bright red and they're all comfy...though some feel like moon boots to walk in.I love the ones with the shiny buckles, clips and zips and the soft suede that runs up the inner calf...others look subtle and hide away nicely under a pair of blue jeans for when I want to wander around incognito...while some are garish with rigid plates and are meant to be worn on the outside. Sleazy? I don't think so. At least no ones ever suggested that to me.But fashionable and practical? Oh eminently so...especially if you go for that MotoGP racer or Motocross star look.And they pair with Goretex or tight, leather trousers so well. But, I know, who wears leather trousers anymore...?

Boots ... great things. Sexy and elegant in one package.
The options are nearly endless. Simply change the other items of clothing and the entire boot will change demeanour.

... make me go weak at the knees... but that does not mean they are sleazy ... just make a woman look fabulous... as do heels in general... flat heeled thigh high boots... pffft... what a waste unless you are riding.
