Hello everybody. I'm countrytouch, and I'm a swingle.
Now let's all now sit down in the circle and hold.... ermmmm... whatever you want to.
Now I'm sure we've have had similar discussions before, but let's see what you lovely people define as a "swingle" (and if you're not one, GTFO *just kidding, we value your input!* )
I'm sure many people in their youth (or otherwise) have played around a bit, maybe some backyard pool parties have gone a little far, or some sort of group thing has happened every now and then. I assume. (Don't go there). But in my very very humble opinion, I would say a "swingle", is involved in the official swinging scene, for want of a better term. Sure, some people might have had various single partners in succession or at one time, but the terminology and origins of the swinging scene is built around couples. So in this regard, singles having sex with singles, well, that's just life. A "swingle" would probably actively involve themselves (or seek to) with swinging parties, events, or be mutually, knowingly involved with couples (together or apart), while not having a partner themselves.
But don't let me rule the roost. Let's go around the circle and see what other opinions we have.

It's all so shiny and brand new! i would agree with your definition - a swingle is someone that is a part of the scene and yet is single. A single male or female (unicorn) that attends swinger's events, and plays with couples or groups. I loooved being a swingle! Best of all worlds. I met my current partner on RHP after playing on here as a swingle. Met some awesome couples and swingles/singles that I now call great friends when I was a swingle.
Are singles that meet other singles through swinging websites still just singles though? Or are they swingles because they're involved in the scene through the site?

This forum should have been titled swingles, my spell checker hates it but I think it's great. As for Jessica's question, what about a single looking for singles on a swinging site. Although my profile is quiet vanilla (this is my day walker profile with facial shots) I am not opposed to a little play, I am unsure if that makes me a swinger? I am looking for fwb relationships. I am definitely looking for an LTR. I am looking for someone who wants to play. (swing) I am not in the swinging scene other than this site. I don't consider myself a swingle. I think I am looking for a bent garden hose. Something a little twisted maybe with a little kink in it.

Ive only swungled when Im a swingle.Unless its teemed up with another swingle. Then we have swungled together.

I've only swingled with a swungle then we went for a drive to only be in a bingle which turned out a bungle
After she gave me a tingle we then tangled in a triangle which finished in a mingle with a mongrel

Never done this as a couple, would imagine I will in the future (that is if I find that needle in the haystack first), don't like the tag words a whole lot, swingle, lifestyle, they all have a ring to them that make us sound odd. We're dirty, kinky and up for a good time, but odd, no. So I never use those words, ever. There are other words however I have embraced like cougar, but that's to streamline the process and hone in on my preferred fuck buddy, but curious why a single person wanting to have sex with different partners has to be called anything, particularly on a site like this where everybody (okay so not everybody here wants sex but most do) is here for that reason surely?

I like to have sex with men, women, couples and MM/MMM. Whether that makes me a swingle, a Unicorn or just plain greedy really doesn't matter to me.

As A 'swingle' myself, it is great to finally get a term to describe it.Love playing with couples and groups, and being bi means I get to enjoy a broad scope of fun.Meet quite a few female swingles, often at parties and it is refreshing to meet others who enjoy the lifestyle and the opportunities and rewards it offers.Also, I do find that there is often a refreshing honesty with those I meet, less facades and bullshit, just 'here I am, happy, confident and wanting to play'.

That was exactly my first date,
When I split with my long term mate.
I was a beginner.
And she turned out to be a swinger.
We went 4WDing in the bush,
And I found a stump and gave it a push.
With the 'cruiser dead,
We had little choice but to bed.
She said she was happy we were so far away,
And pretty soon our clothes were strewn in disarray.
By the light of our small fire,
We filled the night while desire.
Many times we returned to the tent,
Until she could walk no more and was spent.
While I do advise against the bingle,
It did herald my becoming swingle.
Now RHP is the only site for me,
As here I can relate to likeminded company.

it's about first meeting someone, connect and venture out.
I must say I have been to a certain place about 6 times now and played a little but not had sex, guess i like sex in my own intimate atmosphere,it's a great night out and I've met some awesome people, it's comfy and you talk to some great people. I wouldn't have gone alone as a single male . Im so lucky I have found people that are happy to meet and then venture out, all I can say is be you and it will be as it will beRHP User
